Discover the ancient rainforests and unique cultural history of Haida Gwaii, home of the Haida people for thousands of years. The islands have a mystical atmosphere, and are characterised by their jagged shorelines, moss-covered forests and abundant wildlife, including the endemic Haida Gwaii black bear, orca and humpback whales, bald eagles and sea lions. Witness the breathtaking scenery by zodiac and helicopter, visit the SGang Gwaay World Heritage Site, and relax in your peaceful coastal surroundings.
Arrive into Vancouver and transfer to your city hotel to relax and explore the city. Depending on your time of arrival, wander around the waterfront and grab a spot of dinner before your early morning flight.
This morning you will catch your charter flight to Sandspit, where you will be transferred by helicopter to Ocean House. The rest of the day is at leisure, giving you time to relax and enjoy the peaceful coastal atmosphere with a walk along the beach or soak in the hot tub.
The next few days will give you the opportunity to discover the rich culture and unique natural beauty of Haida Gwaii. Head out on a guided zodiac tour, where you will learn some of the stories and legends of the area and witness the breathtaking scenery. This is also one of the best ways to view the abundant wildlife of the region, including black bears, eagles, orcas and humpback whales.
Today you will return by helicopter to Sandspit, where you will take a short ferry ride to Skidegate. Here, you will be met by a local representative and transferred to Haida House. Enjoy a relaxed walk along the beach and river before a hearty dinner.

Over the next three days you will take part in a number of guided activities as you explore the unique cultural heritage of the Haida people and the beautiful island scenery, including a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of SGang Gwaay, known for its masterfully crafted totem poles.

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Sandspit for your chartered flight to Vancouver. Relax into your hotel and enjoy your final night in the city.
Today, you will transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
