Why choose India for your Family Safari...

With its bright colours, diverse landscapes, beautiful beaches and fantastic wildlife, India is the ideal destination for a family holiday. Combining beach and safari on family holiday to India is a great option and adding on some cultural tours is great too. The sounds, sights and activity around India are captivating no matter how old you are.

There are various festivals throughout the year which are full of interesting dancing, colours, music and culture. 

As well as the fantastic array of wildlife within the national parks to keep children occupied, activities such as trekking can also keep them entertained.

The only point to note with travelling around India is the distance and the time taken to get from one place to another. Journeys can be long which may make travelling with children difficult. We always use private drivers so you and your family will not be travelling with other people. Where possible, and if it makes the journey easier, we would generally suggest flying or by train. Most lodges in India allow children, although not all - so always make sure you check with your safari specialist.
