Setting

Perched right on the edge of the Kinabatangan River, an area for magnificent wildlife and wondrous nature walks.

Accommodation & Facilities

Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge chalets are semi-detached, furnished simply but comfortably with wooden accents. They are all en-suite with ceiling fans, there is no air conditioning but the river breeze helps with that.

In the main lodge you will find a Halal restaurant and a sun deck facing the river. There is also a library and TV room where you can watch wildlife documentaries on the Sabah region of Borneo.

Dining

As previously mentioned, fresh ingredients are bought regularly from the local people for a good price. Meals are tasty and served buffet style in the dining area.

Activities

The main activity here is exploring the Kinabatangan River, through guided nature walks and gliding across the water in boats. Proboscis monkeys can often be spotted feeding from the river's edge, you may also spot wild orangutans, pygmy elephants, otters, crocodiles and a myriad of beautiful birds.
