Mpala Jena Camp

"Mpala Jena" translates to "White Impala"

When the Zambezi National Park was seperated from Victoria Falls National Park there were sightings of an albino Imbala were reported.

Located within a private concession in Zambezi National Park, Mpala Jena is an exquisite canvas tented camp overlooking the Zambezi River shoreline.

Created with a strong sustainability ethos; the camp was designed and built using materials that minimise energy and transport miles, and is run off solar power. This camp provides an exclusive and luxurious retreat in the heart of the African wilderness.

Birding is spectacular all year round and between June to December you can do catch and release Tiger fishing.

Located 16km within a private concession in Zambezi National Park, allowing easy access to Victoria Falls by a 40 minute drive or boat transfer.

Accommodation & Facilities

The camp consists of four guest tents situated in the shade under variety of indigenous trees. The tents have a Moroccan influence throughout, with open (netted) views of the river. Each tent has en-suite bathroom facilities equipped with a bathtub, indoor shower, separate loo and double basins. There is decking at the front of the tent, leading to a private plunge pool with scenic views.
