How to Get to Chilo Gorge Safari Camp
  • Fly from Harare by light aircraft to the nearby Mahenye Airstrip (1h45 min) and then a 10 minute transfer to the lodge.
  • Fly from Johannesburg by light aircraft to Buffalo Range (1h45 min) and then transfer to the lodge (1h45 min).

Accommodation & Facilities

There are ten ten king-size or twin chalets located at the main camp, each overlooking the river gorge from a private balcony. Comfortably furnished and decorated in the local Shangaan style, with an elevated bathroom with en-suite showers behind the sunken bedroom.
