The luxury lodge is located in stunning surroundings and is well situated for excursions and Victoria Falls.
Setting
Located on the banks of the Zambezi River overlooking the mighty Zambezi River, Old Drift Lodge is set within Zambezi National Park and is the perfect base to explore Victoria Falls. Only 4.5 kilometres from the town of Victoria Falls, it is the closest lodge within the park to the falls themselves.
Accommodation & Facilities
Each luxury air-conditioned tent is well stocked with amenities, toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers, a hairdryer and a charging station with international and USB plug sockets. There are private indoor and outdoor en-suite facilities and a sleep-out deck. Relax in an outdoor bathing tub with a view, or a plunge pool for a welcome relief from the midday sun.
Dining
A buffet-style breakfast is served from 7am, and there’s also a station for eggs and pancakes cooked to order. A wide range of delicious cuisine is prepared buffet style or á la carte for lunch and dinner. Locally sourced and prepared meals can be enjoyed in style at the Lookout Café, a large open-sided restaurant set above the stunning Batoka Gorge. Enjoy tea baskets and snacks on the morning drives, and sundowners and snacks on the afternoon game drives.
Activities
The lodge provides all-inclusive activities such as guided hikes, game drives and river safaris where you are likely to spot giraffe, eland, kudu, elephant, lion and many other species. Adrenaline-lovers can take part in the high-wire activities that take place at the Lookout. A guided tour of Victoria Falls, arguably one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is not to be missed.
Child Policy
All children are welcome, although the lodge is best suited to those over the age of 12.
