Walking safaris are available with armed guards in Matusadona National Park and the surrounding area; guests can also track black rhino on foot. There is also the option of game drives, canoe safaris and fishing trips to catch the great tiger fish! Guests can also visit the local village; join a specialist birding trip, visit dinosaur fossil sites as well as black rhino orphanage visits.
We do not recommend Musango Camp for children. Please contact us for details.
Musango Safari Camp was involved in the reintroduction of black rhino in the area, they are also involved in the Painted Dog – a reintroduction and rehabilitation project focused on wild dogs in Zimbabwe. The visits to the local village help to show the sensitive relationship between humans and the wildlife, and the part they play in its conservation.
