All of the guest accommodation here is luxurious, with 24 hour room service, a mini bar and air-conditioning. Standard rooms are large and sumptuous, with en-suite bathrooms complete with a tub and shower. As you work your way up through Superior, Deluxe, Junior, Prime and executive to the Presidential Suite, you gain a Jacuzzi, private office, private conference room and 2 en-suite guest rooms. As well as this you have your own private vestibule entrance and reception area.
There are 3 meeting rooms in the hotel, an 800 seat ballroom, international press centre and wi-fi throughout the building. The spa features a modern gym, aerobics studio, steam and sauna rooms. There are 2 separate spas for men and women, massage facilities, beauty salon and a plunge pool.
The 2 main restaurants in the hotel are The Milima, which is one of the most popular venues in Kigali, and The Sokoni. Both restaurants overlook the pool and tropical gardens and offer a range of cuisine, from Malay and Rwandese to Spanish. The Milima serves three meals a day whereas the Sokoni runs an all day café service, and is renowned for its colourful and tasty cocktails.
You can also order your food to your room via 24 hour room service and eat from the comfort of your bed, or from your private veranda.
There is a travel desk in the hotel so you can book excursions from there; however it is ideally situated for visits to Kigali centre and for some thorough relaxation in the spa and pool.
Children of all ages welcome. The pool is supervised with a shallower baby pool for very young children, although parents are still advised to keep a watchful eye. There are children’s menus in the restaurants, as well as board games and the chance to explore the gardens.
