An intimate and rustic camp built from sustainable materials, inspired by the designs of local Ba’Aka Pygmy groups
Setting
In the home of one of the world’s largest expanses of tropical rainforest in the Odzala-Kokoua National Park, in the heart of the Congo basin, the camp is set in a glade of marantaceae vegetation.
Accommodation & Facilities
Each of the 6 rooms has a wrap around walkway for 360 degree views of your environment. They are designed using local, naturally sourced materials and inspired by local designs.
On the deck there is a fire pit, with views to the pristine banks of the Ngaga River and evenings are usually spent sitting here swapping the stories of the day and absorbing the forest atmosphere.
Dining
Tasty cuisine is served and you can eat outside.
Activities
Explore the surrounding forests on foot and track the local population of western lowland gorillas. At night you can go for walks, hoping to track nocturnal primates such as the Central Potto. You will need to be fit and healthy to stay here as activities can be quite strenuous.

Those over 15 can be accommodated.
