About Mboko Camp

Extending along the banks of the Lekoli River within the Odzala-Kokoua National Park, Mboko Camp is situated at an interface between tropical rainforest and lush meadow-like savannah. The open grassland is home to an abundance of flowers and butterflies, and forest buffalo and elephant are frequent visitors to the camp.

Mboko also offers spectacular opportunities for star-gazing, as well as access to the villages on the outskirts of the park, where you can meet and interact with the local people.

An intimate yet spacious camp, in a prime location for wildlife viewing.

The camp is situated at an interface between lush open grassland and dense tropical rainforest, along the banks of the Lekoli River in Odzala-Kokoua National Park.

There are 10 double and two family cabins, nestled in amongst the forest which provides a feeling of privacy. The cabins are decorated in traditional safari style using sustainable materials, and each has a deck and lounge chairs from which you can relax and look out over the savannah.

There is also a communal fire pit which is a great place to spend the evening as you swap stories and gaze up at the stars, while keeping an eye out for nocturnal wildlife.

Food is of a high standard, and you can eat outdoors.

Explore the surrounding forest and savannah areas on foot or on a game drive, and watch out for primates, birds and elephants as you drift silently on a boat trip along the Lekoli River.

Children of all ages can be accommodated.
