About Five Senses Lodge

Tucked away from civilisation these lodges sit on the southwest coast of Madagascar, and give a new meaning to the concept of exclusivity. The boutique ecolodges let you enjoy the surroundings in luxury while remaining connected to your surroundings. Take some time out in the spa and enjoy a massage or an essential oil treatment. Then finish off the day in the restaurant taking in the incredible views.

Lodge Details

Style

The Five Senses Lodges consist of 8 Boutique Eco lodges on the remote, arid south-west coast of the north of Tulear. The lodges are all tastefully decorated; each with an en-suite bathroom. Each lodge has its own shaded terrace looking out at panoramic views of the Mozambique channel and sweeping sand beaches.

Setting

The lodges are set along a beautiful stretch of white sand beaches with a panoramic vista of the Mozambique channel. This camp is ideal for anyone looking to wind down after a long trip in Madagascar.

Accommodation & Facilities

Five Senses Lodge is made up of a series of villas located directly off the beach on the beautiful south west coastline of Madagascar. The villas offer spacious rooms bathed in light and all offer stunning vistas of the most beautiful lagoon in Madagascar. There is a spa on site allowing you to relax with a massage as well as a variety of other treatments.

Dining

The on-site restaurant provides meals composed of only the freshest products and the menu is constantly evolving to the rhythm of the season and the inspiration. There is a perfect mix of local food as well as more traditional meals. The chef will be delighted to cater and adapt to your wishes.

Activities

The Five Senses Lodge offers an array of activities – each one more exciting than the last – which promises to make your stay as exhilarating and as tranquil as can be (at the spa for instance). The immense lagoon is suitable for practicing water sports: the company has their own sailboats; Arabian coasting boat, traditional pirogues and paddle boards which enable you to sail across the sea, propelled by gusts of wind. For even more sensations, try the Hobie Cat, fun tubes or kite surfing. The stretch of white sand is ideal for a quad ride, a morning jog or a slow, long stroll. The pastimes and pursuits will undoubtedly whet your appetite for discovery.
