There are 10 different types of villa to choose from here: five which are set on the beach, and five built over the water. With no less than five dining venues and two bars to choose from, an empty stomach is not a problem you’ll have to face during a stay at Olhuveli. Here you can partake in buffet-style dining at one of the largest overwater restaurants in the Maldives, or opt for a beachfront meal overlooking South Malé Atoll’s sparkling lagoon. Island Pizza serves up the classic Italian staple infused with your choice of fresh and seasonal ingredients, The Plankton Grill features an open-style kitchen cooking freshly caught seafood, while The Four Spices specialises in Asian cuisine, drawing on flavours from Japan, India, Thailand and the Maldives. And when it’s time to unwind, head to one of the two bars to sip a cocktail and watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean.
In addition to the host of facilities on the atoll that guests can utilise at their leisure, you’ll also be able to embark on snorkelling safaris and a number of cruises, as well as fishing trips either at sunrise or sunset.
