Machaba Camp
Machaba Camp is a beautiful tented camp in the Khwai section of the Okavango Delta. Its name means fig tree, and in the local community, it represents life.
The rule of this camp is to reconnect with nature and genuinely enjoy the lovely environment around us; the outdoor showers provide the ideal atmosphere for this.
The position on the Khwai riverside is ideal for observing game and other flora and fauna; witnessing the animals' daily journey down to the river is spectacular.

Location
Machaba Camp is located in the game-rich Khwai region of the northeastern Okavango Delta, near the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana.
Accommodation & Facilities
The camp provides typical safari-style lodging with two family tents and eight double tents, with a maximum capacity of 24 people. Each tent is tastefully decorated and includes individual en-suite facilities. The camp has eco-friendly features including solar electricity, plunge pools, a massage therapist, and a curio shop. Following safari activities, guests may recover in the spacious tented dining and social room or in the plunge pool.
Activities
Guests may participate in a wide range of safari activities, including game drives, night drives, walking safaris, birding safaris, and mokoro excursions. These activities provide opportunity to observe a variety of wildlife, including large game and bird species, in the Khwai Concession.
Dining
The camp serves wonderful meals in the tented dining room or outside by the campfire. Guests may savour a variety of traditional African and BBQ cuisine, which are accompanied by cool beverages from the well-stocked bar.
