Accommodation & Facilities

Pom Pom Camp has nine luxury tents in traditional, rustic safari-style. Shaded beneath a canopy of trees, eight tents overlook the Pom Pom lagoon, with an additional family tent closer to the main lodge. The en-suite bathrooms are enclosed but roofless, creating a true bush experience. There is no electricity in the camp; instead, paraffin lamps give a wonderfully warm evening atmosphere.

The thatched main lodge includes lounge, dining, bar and pool areas, as well as a curio shop and boma(outdoor eating) area.

Tasty home cooked meals cooked alfresco. Most drinks are included.

Game drives, walking safaris and nature walks are all on offer. Water based activities include fishing and mekoro (dugout canoe) trips. Photography and bird-watching excursions are also available.

Child Policy

Children under 8 years old are only accepted if the camp is booked on an exclusive basis. A private vehicle must be booked for families with children aged between 8 and 12 years.
