Style
A semi-permanent structure in a true wilderness area with luxurious meru style tents. The camp exudes a romantic safari ambience, but has modern features and comfort.
Setting
On the northern border of the Moremi Reserve, right in the Okavango Delta, the camp is located next a lagoon that forms part of the Khwai River. Access is via charter flight to the Khwai Airstrip from Maun or Kasane or road transfer.
Accommodation & Facilities
There are just 6 luxury tents with space for up to 12 guests at a time, each built on wooden decking. Tents are spacious and comfortable, with oversized twin beds and private en-suite bathrooms, as well as furniture to make yourself at home. Bathrooms have a flushing toilet and showers are open-air bucket showers.
In the main areas you have excellent views of the lagoon from the wooden decking, and there is a library, bar and dining area.
Dining
Despite your very remote location, the cuisine is excellent, created using fresh produce to the highest standards. Snacks are available throughout the bar and there is an fantastic array of drinks available at the bar.
Activities
From here you can enjoy game drives during the night and day, as well as guided walks and village visits. During your village visit you may meet the village elders and learn about the people who live among the wildlife in this unique part of the world. Local wildlife includes buffalo, lion, leopard, wild dog and elephants, and much, much more.
Child Policy
Children over 7 are welcome, however they will need to be over 14 to take part in walking safaris.
