A stunning tranquil safari camp with comfortable spacious tents.
Hyena Pan Tented Camp borders the Moremi National Park and Khwai River, allowing for a diverse range of wildlife viewing. The camp overlooks a waterhole, the Mopane Pan, which has a consistent amount of animals visiting all year round.
Accommodation & Facilities
The eight comfortable and spacious tents at Hyena Pan each have a twin bed, an en-suite bathroom with an indoor shower and one tent is wheelchair accessible.
The facilities include a spacious dining room, two lounge areas with sun decks, a small library and a Curio shop.
Delicious food is served for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and as a three course dinner.
Big game is viewable from the camp but a better view is available at the ground level hide which is just 10m away from the waterhole! Elephant, Giraffe, Kodu and Roan Antelope are regular visitors to the waterhole and, if you’re lucky, you may spot buffalo and Eland.
Around the camp, it isn’t unusual to spot leopard, lion, wild dog and spotted hyena as well as waterbuck, impala, red lechwe and so much more wildlife roaming the grounds. To explore further, you can enjoy a morning or afternoon game drive through the grounds that is exclusive to Hyena Pan guests. For those wanting a more relaxing drive, take a trip round the Khwai River where graceful leopards are usually found roaming.
Game walks are available throughout the private concession to bring you up close to the incredible wildlife that call Hyena Pan home. You will have the opportunity to walk up to the wildlife, within a safe distance, and enthral your senses in the most exhilarating safari there is.
All children are welcome. Children under 12 years old require a private vehicle.
