About Ghoha Hills Camp, Chobe National Park

Ghoha Hills is a luxurious, tented camp located in the midst of the Savuti private concession of Chobe National Park. There is a real focus placed upon responsible and eco-tourism; the entire camp is powered by solar energy.

The rooms and suites are all made from canvas ensuring that your feel of getting back to nature, lying in your reclining bed looking out over the Chobe National Park and listening to the incredible Botswana wildlife when you wake up is an amazing experience.

Accommodation & Facilities

Each of the rooms are en-suite and have private dressing areas, there is also a private deck outside each room where you can relax and watch the wildlife gather around the nearby watering hole. Each of the suites are furnished with authentic furniture and king size beds- do not be surprised if you are awoken by the sound of a lion’s roar.

The main guest area has been designed to ensure closeness to the natural world, with a thatched roof and only semi-enclosed it is not unusual to see game walking past whilst you are eating breakfast. There is also plenty of places to relax after your exciting day of exploring; the dining room and bar, lounge and library, there is also a fire pit which is perfect for exchanging stories under the African night sky.

All meals are served at Ghoha Hills; the hearty dishes are a welcoming sight when you return from your action-packed day. There is also the option to take a packed lunch or a picnic with you when you embark on game drives; eating lunch in the middle of Chobe National Park is definitely not something you do every day!


Ghoha Hills is in an exclusive area of Botswana; perched on top of the very hills that the camp is named after. The panoramas from this area are magnificent - the Savuti area of the Chobe National Park is home to ample game and the watering hole next to the camp is an amazing place to see the animals drinking and bathing together. Game drives will take up a huge part of your stay at Ghoha Hills; with expert guides who have grown up in the local area with an in depth knowledge of this beautiful area’s flora and fauna. This area is renowned for breath-taking sightings of a huge range of game including lions, elephant, buffalo, hyena, leopard, giraffe and roan antelope.

Children over the age of 6 are permitted at Ghoha hills and children under 12 will be charged 50% of the adult price.
