Accommodation & Facilities
All 10 of the luxurious chalets are en-suite and open out onto their own private outside shower. So after an exciting day out scouting for wildlife, you can shower in sublime peace under the stars before relaxing on your own raised deck with river views. Owners Jenny and Adam Young have hand-picked each and every furnishing, resulting in each chalet being totally unique.
Chobe Bakwena Lodge is in Chobe National Park so there are a number of options in which to search for the ample wildlife around here. All of the staff employed by Adam and Jenny are from the local town, which has created jobs for the local community and means everyone can walk to work.
At the Chobe Bakwena Lodge all of the cooking ingredients are locally sourced from small companies and all meals are freshly prepared for guests.
Being situated in the middle of the Chobe National Park elephants can often be seen from the privacy of your room and game drives are obviously extremely popular. This lodge has multiple options available including nature walks, game drives and river cruises all with your own personal guide so you won't miss a thing. It is also a great location for bird watching and taking fishing trips as the Chobe is very well known for its wide range of fish within its waters.
Chobe Bakwena Lodge caters for children of all ages and is perfect for that family safari! However, children under the age of 8 will be excluded from taking part in game drives.
