An ex-navy ship, not luxurious, but comfortable and well equipped with some great facilities.

Accommodation & Facilities
There are 53 cabins for passengers; 4 quadruples, 2 triples and 9 twins, each with a port hole, 26 twins with a window, 2 deluxe twins and 10 superior cabins (twin). Each cabin is well decorated with ample space and comfortable bedding as well as private showers and toilets. Up on deck you will find lots of open space so you can relax and absorb your surroundings. The observation lounge has panoramic windows so you can spend time in the evenings at the bar, drink in hand, looking out over the vast and icy north. There is also a restaurant/lecture room. 10 Zodiacs are used to ensure your departure from the vessel is smooth on each of your excursions. Onboard there are 17 nautical crew, 19 hotel staff and 8 expedition staff.

Activities
This will depend on your itinerary and where you are headed. The powerful vessel means you can get to places that are unreachable by others for an exclusive and exciting adventure. Surrounded by incredible glaciers and icebergs, the M/V Plancius is sure to give you the adventure of a lifetime.
Child Policy
There is no minimum age for guests; however there are no facilities onboard to entertain young people, so parents will need to bring these. Parents are responsible for children at all times.
