The communal exterior areas flow into each other, creating a magnificent space to enjoy and entertain. You'll find a ‘cinema-at-sea’, a port-side cocktail bar, sunbeds and the stunning glass house, which allows you the feeling of being outside without the unreliable conditions. You’ll also find a gym and Jacuzzi, and if you fancy sleeping out in the elements, the crew will happily merge the sunbeds for a luxurious night under the stars.
Plan B started as a research vessel for the Australian Navy, mapping the famous Great Barrier Reef. It was named for the famous explorer Matthew Flinders, and has a very adventurous soul. Due to having been a survey ship, it now has an unbeatably quiet hull and continues to be a strong and reliable vessel, however it has undergone a complete refit to a very luxurious standard, with each area being extremely unique.
There are just five cabins for up to 12 guests at a time. Firstly there is the master suite on Deck 3; in here you’ll find a magnificent super-King size bed, private his/hers bathrooms with an adjoining shower. On the main deck (Deck 2) there are four staterooms, all en-suite and with the option of queen beds, or twins. Two cabins are convertible and can sleep three guests.
