The elegant 5 star Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel is housed in a converted 16th century mansion, located just 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas, adjacent to Plaza San Francisco. Featuring colonial gold leaf-plated carvings and sculptures and colonial furnishings on the inside, the exterior is just as outstanding, with one of the best preserved facades in Cusco.

There is also a wellness spa with a variety of treatments, from massages and saunas to steam rooms and hair salons. All this in very easy reach of all the main attractions of Cusco.

The building is an architect’s delight, with Baroque elements and Corinthian columns, and guests can revel in the attentive service and luxurious bedrooms.

Activities

The Imperial City of Cusco is 3,300 metres above sea level, a beautiful city with a nice blend of culture and history. Known as the ‘Tourist Capital of Peru’ its history dates back to pre-Inca times and there are many archaeological sites to visit during your stay. Explore the Plaza de Armas (main square) and visit the cathedral, witness the most famous archaeological site in the city, Qoricancha or the artistic neighbourhood of San Blas. You can also visit impressive Sacsayhuaman, a very impressive religious complex or head to one of many museums, including the Museum of Religious Art or the Per-Colombia Art Museum.
