About Santa Lucia
Santa Lucia is a beautiful boutique hotel in the old town district of Cuenca, providing great service and great accommodation whilst preserving the heritage of the building. First built in 1859 by the first governor of the Azuay Province (now Cuenca), Don Manuel Vega Davila, the building started its long renovation in 1999, which was to take over 2.5 years.
The atmosphere here is completely unique; rooms are well decorated paying attention to each and every detail, using old objet d’arts to decorate the, otherwise modern, space.
Like a living museum, the hotel has watched Cuenca over the years as it has developed and changed, making a stay here one which exudes tradition and elegance.
