Setting

Sacha lodge is located in the heart of 5000 acres of private, ecological, rainforest reserve. Accessed by canoe, Sacha lodge truly provides visitors with an authentic and unique jungle experience.

Accommodation & Facilities

The 26 cabins provide either single or double accommodations, with triple arrangements possible upon request. All cabins are constructed from traditional materials, with a high thatched roof and a shaded, private terrace. For your comfort, ceiling fans are fitted above the double beds and all cabins are screened against insects. Furnishings are basic, but the cabins all nestle and blend in with the rainforest surroundings, creating a jungle ambience.

All cabins contain private bathroom facilities, with flushing toilets and hot showers. Hammocks are also available, providing you the perfect chance to lounge around, enjoying the natural surroundings and keep an eye out for any wild fauna!
The lodge contains a main bar and lounge, where guests are welcome to purchase drinks and where a buffet is served three times a day. Above this area you will find a raised lookout, which gives a beautiful view of Pilchicocha Lake and a brilliant opportunity to birdwatch. 

Dining

Meals are served buffet style, presenting you with a wide variety of international choices to suit your taste. Vegetarians are welcome and dietary requirements can be accommodated with notice.

Activities

A number of activities can be organised from the lodge. Within the reserve there are plenty of paths to explore and wildlife to be found, with experienced guides willing to share local culture and secrets of the rainforest and its creatures. There is an exclusive canopy walk and the lodge is also home to Ecuador’s largest butterfly farm.
