Setting
In the old historic centre of Quito Antiguo, declared a heritage site by UNESCO in 1978. The hotel is amidst many cultural and historical areas of interest, including churches, museums and national monuments.
Accommodation & Facilities
Rooms are distributed over 2 levels around the hotels two patios and offer a high level of comfort, in keeping with the colonial theme throughout the hotel. Suites have a mezzanine level and come with a large bed and a TV on the lower level, then a sofa, armchairs and bathroom upstairs.
There is a fabulous restaurant on one of the patios, a Cava bar, library, artisan shop and a Gyaysamin lecture room, all within the history laden walls of the hotel. This is a great choice for those seeking somewhere authentic and colonial over modern glitz.

The surrounding area is outstanding and there is much to see and do. Visits to the main square are essential, where you will find the presidential house, municipality, Cathedral of Quito and archiepiscopal palace.
