About Patio Andaluz, Quito
The sense of grandeur, large arches, high attic ceilings and balconies, along with the suitably dressed staff at Patio Andaluz give the feeling of being in a republican era as you wander the halls, experiencing the hotel era by era. Officially a national treasure, the hotel has had many a famous face pass through the doors, in this historic heart of Quito Antiguo.
There is room for just 63 guests in rooms and suites, a huge attraction being the magnificent patios of an old Quito mansion which are now covered with a high, illuminating glass roof.
A wonderful spot to have lunch, or sit and powder the hours with a good book!
