Setting

Just a short walk from the historical and cultural sites of Guayaquil, as well as the lively shopping and entertainment of the city. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the airport and the World Trade Centre.

Accommodation & Facilities

As well as the 230 guest rooms, there are 28 business tower suites and 5 club floor suites, including 1 Oro Verde Suite and 1 Presidential Suite. All rooms feature massive windows, letting the natural light pour in, and the latest in amenities and technology. Rooms are comfortable and elegant, furnished in a residential style, so guests are in a welcoming environment. Each room and suite comes with a mini bar, in room safe, cable TV and wi-fi. All of the oversize suites on the club floor have wooden floors and interior lit closet space. The Oro Verde suites have separate living area and marble bathrooms with walk in closets. Other added amenities include a hydro massage shower, a complete home theatre system and a 50 inch flat screen TV.

There is an Oro-Fit spa complete with an outdoor pool, fitness centre and a sauna, as well as a Turkish bath and a Jacuzzi. There is also a beauty parlour, gift shop and casino. Dry cleaning and laundry services are available.

Dining

There are many places to choose from within the hotel when it comes to dining. The gourmet deli features French pastries, sandwiches and chocolates, La Fondue (which serves fondue among other foods) is in a Classical Swiss style and Le Gourmet produces refined French cuisine. There is also a casual bar/restaurant named El Patio, featuring a light menu and an English style pub with a long list of cocktails, wines and liquors.

Activities

Attractions in the area include Mercado Artesanal – the largest artisan market in the city, Barrio de Las Penas – a 400 year old neighbourhood, the Cathedral and the Church of Santo Domingo. There is also the Parque del Centenario, the Municipal Museum and Mall del Sol where you will find plenty of shopping!
