Setting
In between the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, Yasuni National Park and the Pañacocha Protected Forest, it is an amazing location for spotting the wildlife which thrives within the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Accommodation & Facilities
There are three different types of suites available at La Selva; family, superior and scenic which are all spread between 12 thatched cabanas. Some of the cabins and suites have their own private bathrooms but all at least have a peaceful rainforest shower. Due to the ecological basis in which this lodge was built there is no air conditioning within the rooms however, there are fans available 24 hours a day.
Take a break from your intrepid exploring and relax at the Butterfly Spa, there is an extensive range of massages available as well as many different treatments. There are also yoga retreats available with an experienced yoga instructor; whether you are a novice or a bit of a professional there are classes for everyone.
Dining
The La Selva restaurant boasts a menu bursting with native Ecuadorian dishes; the ingredients used are from the local area including fruit, vegetables and herbs. There are opportunities for you to book private breakfasts and candlelit dinners; the perfect, intimate dining experience especially if you are on your honeymoon.
Activities
Apart from exploring the breath-taking surrounding areas of the Amazon with a stunning range of flora and fauna, there are kayaks available by the dock of Lake Garzacocha. There is also the opportunity to go out on a beautiful sunset cruise; this will take place in a dugout canoe filled with snacks and wine- a romantic way to end your exciting day of exploring.

All children are welcome at the La Selva, there are plenty of activities to keep them busy and there is a discount for under 12’s.
