Accommodation & Facilities
Rooms are elegant in design with a rustic style, all differing slightly in size and shape but all with their very own private terrace. Peppered with local artefacts and traditional furnishings, they have a real sense of warmth and authenticity, as well as being comfortable and luxurious. Rooms are available in three varieties; Quitor, Catarpe and Suite Tilo. There are 5 Quito rooms; these are the closest to the main areas with views to the gardens and a minibar. The 27 Catarpe rooms are ever so slightly larger than Quitor rooms and the terrace is more private, set in the gardens. The 10 Suite Tilo’s are in the gardens as well, with views to the lagoon and Catarpe Valley, these are a lot bigger with the other two with an additional private patio and outdoor shower.
There are extensive decked outdoor areas with 6 pools, a bar and a restaurant. Despite the beauty of the rooms, the superb surroundings take the biscuit and you are by no means short of ways to enjoy the view. There is also a spa.
Dining
Most of the ingredients are locally sourced and organic, in fact you will spot them as you explore your surroundings and they will sometimes be picked along the way. Cuisine is Mediterranean in style and can be enjoyed in a variety of settings, both in and out, and enjoyed alongside some fine Chilean wine.

There is a list of about 30 activities that can be enjoyed from Alto Atacama, including cultural visits, mountain biking through canyons, climbing volcanoes, drives and lunches in unique spots. Enjoy luminous sunsets and the bright stars at night, or relax in the pools and spa.
