What to expect

Day 1 - Travel to Iceland

Upon arrival into Iceland, transfer to your accommodation and check-in. If time allows we recommend an excursion to the spectacular Blue Lagoon, where you can soak in the warm waters and enjoy your surroundings. Alternatively, you can head into the centre of Reykjavik and explore the city by foot! Get a restful night before catching your connecting flight tomorrow! Due to the limited number of flights to Nuuk, we recommend arriving in Iceland the day before your glamping adventure begins. Connecting flights between Iceland and Nuuk operate on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Please note depending on the airline of your connecting flight, you may be departing from either the International (Keflavik) or Domestic (Reykjavik) Airport. Accommodation and transfers will be arranged accordingly.

Day 2 - Arrive Camp Kiattua, Greenland

From Nuuk, you will be met by a representative who will assist you with your luggage and take you on a tour of the smallest capital in the world! After your tour of Nuuk, your guide will take time to brief you on your upcoming adventure to Kiattua Bay. Your luggage will be repacked into waterproof duffels prior to being transferred to the boat where you begin your journey into the remote fjords and mountains. Whilst you cruise into one of the largest fjord systems in the world, keep a look out for humpback whales, which frequent these waters. As you are navigated past vast icebergs, it is time to appreciate your surroundings. Once you reach shore you will be welcomed and assisted to your tipi, which will be your home for the next four nights. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and explore, with the option to embark on a short hike to a stunning waterfall.

Days 3 - 5 - Activities

Awake in your luxury tipi to the sounds of lapping water on the shore. Enjoy a hearty breakfast prepared by the chef whilst you take in your stunning surroundings. Once breakfast is finished you will be ready to enjoy the custom activities you have chosen to fill days 3 to 5 of your adventure. You are free to do as much or as little as you wish, however a few of the activities to choose from include taking a boat cruise to the Kapisillit area where you can immerse yourself into the Inuit way of life and try your hand at a spot of traditional fishing! For the slightly more adventurous there is the option to complete different hikes or scrambles – there is something to suit everyone! If you would rather take to the skies, for an additional cost, why not take a helicopter tour to the mighty ice cap and Norse ruins. However, if you plan to just kick back and relax in this unique setting then the hot tub is available. As the day draws to a close enjoy your dinner in the dining tent before retiring to your private tipi. If you are lucky you may even witness a meteor shower!

Day 6 - Camp Kiattua - Nuuk

Today signals your final day at Camp Kiattua. As the sun rises over the majestic mountains, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before your boat departs taking you back to civilisation. Just because you are on your way back to Nuuk doesn’t mean your adventure is over! It is likely you will spot some wildlife on your return journey including whales and seals. Once you have safely arrived back in Nuuk you will be transferred to either your hotel or the airport depending on your onward travel plans.B
