WILD COAST TENTED LODGE details
Style
A luxurious and uniquely designed tented camp, constructed from carefully selected natural materials.
Setting
Situated on a secluded beach on Sri Lanka's southeastern coastline, adjacent to Yala National Park and overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Accommodation & Facilities
The 28 tents, known as Cocoons and Urchins for their distinctive shapes, are designed to resemble the rocks and boulders that are scattered nearby. Each of the 16 cocoon suites offers a four-poster, king-sized bed, spacious bathroom with large copper bathtub, and a viewing deck overlooking a watering hole, designed to attract a variety of local wildlife. The interior décor combines traditional safari camp and contemporary styles in natural colours, with teak floors and dark leather furnishings. The four pool suites also feature their own plunge pool and beach views, while the family suites have an adjoined twin suite to allow for maximum privacy.
The lodge also features a large swimming pool, bar and dining area, library and onsite spa offering exclusive treatments and massages.
Dining
The lodge offers traditional Sri Lankan and Malay cuisine, served in the open air bamboo dining pavilion or al fresco in the natural beach garden.

The lodge’s resident naturalist guides will be on hand for guided excursions into the park, and will be hosting a range of lectures and workshops on the local flora and fauna.
