The Wallawwa is a restored old Manor House; originally built over 200 years ago it maintains its old charm and incorporates a stylish design with luxurious comforts. Despite being just 20 minutes away from the International Airport, there is not a plane in sight.

The boutique style hotel is hidden gem, tucked away from the main road, but within an easy distance of the beach town of Negombo and Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital city.

Close to the main roads and the airport, but hidden away in complete exclusivity.

Accommodation & Facilities

The Wallawwa consists of 10 Garden Suites, 2 Family Suites and 2 Wallawwa Bedrooms.

All of the rooms have Balinese King sized 4 poster beds, an en-suite wet-room with a rain shower, widescreen satellite TV’s, hairdryers and safety deposit boxes.  The Wallawwa Bedrooms are ideal for night stopovers from the airport; they are the smallest of the three types. The Garden Suites are all centred around the courtyard, additionally they are larger with their own private veranda. The family suites are larger still (at a size of 90 metres squared), with another room for the children equipped with its own facilities.

There is also a library room and office room, with an internet enabled computer and printer for the use of guests – alternatively there is wifi wireless access in the rooms. The swimming pool and gardens have sun loungers and shady areas, great for a days relaxation.

Activities

The Pool, Gardens and Z Spa are the main attractions, the spa has 4 treatment rooms offering massage, scrubs, wraps and alternative therapies, all designed for guests to unwind.

Outside of The Wallawwa, you can visit the coastal town of Negombo; with its white sandy, sun-kissed beaches, water sports and colonial style architecture. The capital city of Colombo isn’t too far if you would like to visit the National museum, temples or do some shopping!

Dining

Food is available throughout the day on request and is served on the veranda overlooking the gardens. You can also have your food brought up to your room for you if that is what you would prefer. All ingredients are fresh and of high quality.

Children of all ages are welcome, there is even a special children’s menu available.
