Singinawa, meaning ‘protectors of the sacred forest’, is nestled near Mukki Gate, close to Kanha National Park. Offering you the chance to experience the jungles of central India in complete comfort and style, this is the perfect place to be as adventurous as you like.

Singinawa Jungle Lodge has just 12 cottages within 55 acres of grasslands. Here, trained naturalists will help you learn about the tiger as you travel a unique eco-system in custom built 4x4 vehicles.  

Singinawa works closely with the local communities on conservation and is a wonderful unique place to stay in Kanha.

Style

A very welcoming, spacious and ecologically friendly lodge set in 55 acres of lush natural forest.

Setting

On 55 acres of grasslands, a fresh water river, stunning rock formations and amazing trees, the lodge is close to Kanha National Park, accessible by road, rail and air.

Accommodation & Facilities

The lodge offers 12 tastefully designed cottages, each with a large bedroom, private veranda and en-suite bathroom with a rain shower. The cottages also have a mini bar, fireplace and air conditioning, ensuring a very comfortable stay and great night’s sleep.

In the main lodge you will find a colonial style library and lounge, a nature shop for souvenirs and travel desk facilities. There is also a grand dining area, swimming pool with views to the grasslands and rock features and an open-air campfire for that authentic experience.

There is a laundry service, communications centre (with internet) and a spa with Indian and Oriental treatments.

Dining

Singinawa Jungle lodge offers a grand dining area which serves a variety of Continental and Indian cuisine, Fresh & home cooked food. Most of the fresh vegetables come from the organic farming at the nearby villages.

Activities

Trained naturalists take you on safari in customized 4x4 vehicles to offer an insight into the unique ecosystem of the park where animals like the highly endangered Swamp Deer, Dhole, Gaur, Tiger and a whole host of birds may be seen. Back from safari, you can savour a choice of cuisines, relax at the spa, go for a bicycle ride into the nearby tribal village, visit our model organic farm or even take a walk on the land to see how degraded land has been protected and natural grasslands & forests allowed to regenerate.
