En-suite tents, individually located throughout a wooded grove, ensure the maximum privacy possible. Each tent is covered by a tiled roof and has its own private veranda and en-suite bathroom, with coolers provided for warmer months. The main house is the centre of action in the evening, with a cosy log fire outside and beautifully home-cooked Indian or continental meals, often consisting of home grown vegetables or locally farmed fish from the lake.

Shergarh Tented Camp is located near Kanha National Park’s Mukki Gate, offering a real jungle experience in a serene environment.

Accommodation & Facilities

Individually spaced inside a wooded grove, the six cosy tents are built to maximise privacy. Each tent has a large veranda and en-suite bathroom with hot running water and a shower. The tents are shaded by a thatched roof, which is cooled with water in the hotter months. Each tent has an air cooler and electricity (with generator back-up) for the warmer months and hot ‘stone’ bags are provided during winter.

The main house features an open fire and a library, and is surrounded by verandas overlooking the water - a great place for bird watching

Dining

Wholesome Indian and continental food is prepared at Shergarh Tented Camp using home-grown vegetables, local produce and fish farmed from the camps own lake! Meals are taken communally in the main dining room.
