Situated amidst the scenic Aravalli Hills, Rawla Narlai is a 17th century property that was once used as a hunting lodge by the royal family of Jodhpur. Setting

Rawla Narlai is located on the edge of Narlai village, in the heart of the Aravalli Hills. The hotel is at the foot of a huge, granite rock, situated midway between Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Accommodation & Facilities

Each of the 32 rooms has been individually decorated; the vintage rooms showcase the property’s original frescoes and archways, whilst the modern wing is decorated with carved marble.  All of the rooms at Rawla Narlai are furnished with the owners’ own collection of antiques. The facilities at Rawla Narlai include a swimming pool and separate children’s pool, a gorgeous roof terrace for sunbathing and relaxing, Wi-fi, yoga, a massage centre and jacuzzi.

Dining

The restaurant serves Indian, continental and regional cuisine made using the chef’s family recipes. There is also a delightful opportunity to enjoy the hotel’s stepwell dinner, where you will be taken to a 1000 year-old well to have dinner in a captivating forest setting, lit by oil lamps and accompanied by traditional Rajasthani singing. 

Activities

Walking and bird watching are both popular activities, and horse riding safaris can also be arranged. If you are feeling particularly athletic, a half-hour climb up to the Shiva temple nearby takes you to a stunning hilltop viewpoint from which to survey rural Rajasthan and watch the sunset.
