Setting

Situated at the foot of the Meherangarh Fort, the Raas is located in Jodhpur’s prestigious north-eastern quarter.

Accommodation & Facilities

The rooms and suites offer amazing views of the fort and are comfortable and sophisticated, with great attention to detail. The décor draws heavily on influences from Jodhpur, such as the pink Jodhpur sandstone that is used for the wall panelling. Bathrooms are bright and stylish and all the rooms have private verandas, most of which overlook the fort. The Raas has a spacious courtyard and a beautiful pool area that is beautifully lit by small candles at night. The property also features a relaxing spa offering a range of treatments.

Dining

The Raas offers two on-site restaurants, Darikhana and Baradari. Darikhana has unbeatable views of the Meherangarh Fort and is in an ideal setting for a romantic meal, while Baradari serves Thai and Mediterranean cuisine. The salads, vegetables and herbs used are all sourced from the hotels own organic garden.

Activities

Activities in and around the hotel include swimming in the hotel pool, enjoying the newly opened spa, golf at one of the most famous golf courses in India, and cultural tours of the historic city of Jodhpur.  Visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort, the Jain temple of Osiyan or the hill-top Umaid Bhawan Palace.  You can also visit the Sadar Market to buy spices, sweets, silver and handicrafts or go on a village tour to visit the local Bishnoi tribes.
