Beautifully restored into a luxurious country hotel in the Aravalli Hills, Raas Devigarh is an eighteenth-century regal retreat with spectacular views over rural Rajasthan. 

Setting

Delwara, where Raas Devigarh is located, is only 25km north of the romantic city of Udaipur; famous for its lakes, palaces and colourful markets and is a perfect base from which to explore it.

Accommodation & Facilities

There are 22 elegantly restored suites and 17 garden rooms that have been designed with a stunning mixture of the modern and the traditional. They have been designed using local marbles and semi-precious stones to give a truly luxurious feel. Subtle lighting pinpoints simple and decorative details such as a bowl of petals or a miniature painting, and facilities are state-of-the-art. Other facilities include a stunning heated swimming pool, a fitness centre and a spa offering a range of treatments.

Dining

Superb cuisine is served in the restaurant, set in the fort's upper pavilion. There is also a candlelit bar with a wide range of drinks and private dinners and picnics can be arranged for you almost anywhere in the palace.

Activities

Explore the stunning local landscape by horse, mountain bike, camel or simply by foot. Take a trip to the village of Delwara and the nearby 14th century Jain temples, or to the picturesque city of Udaipur with its lakes, palaces and colourful markets. Yoga and astrology sessions are also regularly held.
