pench tree lodge details
Style
A unique boutique lodge made up of rustic treehouses, constructed from local Sal wood and perched on stilts 18 feet above the ground.
Setting
Located within 16 acres of private forest near the village of Sarahiri, this is the first lodge to be built in this relatively unexplored area of Pench National Park.
Accommodation & Facilities
Pench Tree Lodge has six treehouses, spaced out to ensure maximum privacy. Each treehouse features a large four poster bed and a spacious bathroom, and is decorated in a contemporary style using natural materials. The French windows open up to a large private balcony where guests can sit and observe the visiting wildlife while enjoying a sundowner.
The main lodge contains a dining hall and is adjacent to an outdoor swimming pool.
Dining
Food is served in the restaurant or outdoors on the pool terrace and consists of international and local cuisines. Much of the produce is grown in the lodge’s own organic vegetable garden.
Activities
The lodge is ideally located for accessing the less explored northern sectors of Pench National Park, with jeep safaris available to search for the resident wildlife including tigers, wild dogs and several primate species. Other activities on offer at the lodge include nature walks, bike rides and visits to the local Sarahiri village.
Child Policy
Children welcome, although restrictions apply for some activities.
