Once Lord Kitchener’s private estate and residence, Wildflower Hall is a short drive from Shimla and offers superb panoramas and a blend of grand colonial décor and contemporary facilities.

Wildflower Hall offers 83 premier rooms, three deluxe suites and one Lord Kitchener suite. Rooms offers spectacular views over the cedar forests and mountain ranges and every room has a spacious marble bathroom with separate shower and walk-in closets. Facilities at the hotel include 24 hour in-room dining, beauty salon, indoor heated swimming pool, steam and sauna room, a spa and a fitness centre. 


Two restaurants offer the choice of enjoying fine Pan-Asian and continental cuisine at The Restaurant, or traditional Indian cooking at Lutyens, whose old world interiors and garden views create a beautiful atmosphere in the evening. The Cavalry Bar with its timeless grace is a very refined place to enjoy a G&T.


There are inspiring day treks and mountain biking routes to follow, rafting on the foaming white water of the Sutlej River, or you can saddle up for a leisurely ride through the forest to magnificent lookout points. Inside a library, billiards room and cards room provide quiet places for a little reading or some after-dinner diversion.
