Guests can choose from 'cottage' or 'stilt' rooms, all with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. Setting

Kings Lodge is set in 12 acres of grounds and surrounded by Sal forest hills. It is situated just ten minutes from the entrance to Bandhavgarh National Park.

Accommodation & Facilities

The lodge has an eco-friendly construction with eco-sensitive waste disposal systems. The ten cottage rooms and eight stilt cottage rooms are en-suite and designed to blend in with their surroundings. Cottage rooms have large, open verandas with great views overlooking forest and grasslands. Stilt cottage rooms have wooden lofted balconies, perfect for star gazing and sleeping under the stars. All rooms are well appointed with wooden furniture, crisp cotton linen and air conditioning.

Facilities at Kings Lodge include a swimming pool with eco-friendly water filtration system, a well-stocked nature library and a watch tower. The lodge also offers a massage facility on request.

The cuisine at Kings Lodge is international and served in the dining hall next to an open fire with views of the wild grasslands and forested hills.

Activities

Morning and evening jeep safari drives, led by expert guides, operate in 4x4 Suzuki jeeps with front facing elevated seats. Cultural visits to local villages are also offered, as well as eco-friendly walking and cycling safaris in the periphery of the park with trained guides. Bandhavgarh Fort, located in the heart of the National Park, offers great bird-watching and has fantastic views from the summit.
