Setting
Tiger Camp is situated on the border of Corbett National Park, with thick jungle to one side and the River Kosi to the other. Corbett National Park itself is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas and has a rich diversity of habitat and natural beauty.
Accommodation & Facilities
Guests at Corbett Tiger Camp can choose from deluxe cottages and rooms, superior rooms or standard cottages, all of which have en-suite facilities. Each air-conditioned room or cottage is equipped with a coffee table, chairs and clothes rack. En-suite bathrooms include western-style toilets and hot showers. Corbett Tiger Camp also features a ‘Gol Ghar' restaurant, built in traditional Kumaoni style.
Dining
Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine is served from a fixed menu, buffet style, in the ‘Gol Ghar’ dining hall. Folk music and local performance can be arranged upon request for groups.
Activities
Activities at Corbett Tiger Camp are organised by experienced guides and naturalists, and cater to suit guests preferences - this may include tiger tracking, jungle safaris and bird-watching walks. Drives operate in open-air jeeps that comfortably seat up to four people.
Evening slide-shows offer guests detailed information about the surrounding flora and fauna.
