The Tides Lodge

About The Tides Lodge

The Tides Lodge offers opulent accommodation in the form of spacious cottages and slightly larger houses. The Tides Lodge provides excellent service and a tranquil, remote setting on the coastline near the town of Pangani for you to fully relax in. The Tides Lodge is very environmentally aware, and uses solar water heaters, ionising water filters, bio-mass, low-energy light bulbs and buys locally wherever possible to reduce their impact on the environment.

The location of this lodge is idyllic; gentle waters lap the white sandy beach, and it is close to Maziwe Island, which is ideal for snorkelling, diving and swimming as well as spotting marine life such as turtles.

It is close to Saadani National Park, Tanzania’s only National Park which boarders the sea, so makes the perfect base from which to explore this exciting terrain, where you can spot black and white colobus monkeys and crocodiles.
