Setting
Named after a village chief, Sasakwa Lodge is built on a hilltop, with expansive and breathtaking views overlooking the Serengeti plains. Part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem, the 340,000 hectare private Singita Concession consists of majestic plains, which are bursting with incredible wildlife, all year round.
Accommodation & Facilities
Sasakwa Lodge is built in the style of an Edwardian Manor House with stone walls, stately furniture and polished silverware. Accommodation is in nine luxury villas, with private infinity plunge pools and spectacular views over the savannah plains. Each air-conditioned villa is furnished with four-poster beds, ornately carved furniture and sparkling chandeliers. A personal bar, en-suite bathroom with shower and bath and private veranda feature in each villa, as well as a beautiful lounge and fireplace where you can sit back and relax after a day of fantastic game viewing.
Dining
Full board including all drinks, premium wines, spirits and liqueurs (excluding vintage champagne, champagne, and vintage wines on the connoisseurs wine list).
Activities
Twice daily game drives with professional guides in 4x4 vehicles. At an extra cost, balloon safaris across the plains of the Serengeti are also available.
Back at the lodge, guests can indulge in the spa, yoga and gym facilities, or enjoy archery, lawn croquet, mountain biking and tennis.
Stargazing safaris can be arranged in the evenings and the lodge has wireless internet access, as well as the option of watching satellite television in the main lodge.
Child Policy
Children under 10 can be accommodated if the lodge is booked on an exclusive use basis.
