An entirely private house with a fresh and contemporary feel.
Built around the rocks of Kogakurla Kopje within the Northern Serengeti.
Accommodation & Facilities
The house has room for ten guests; four adults and six children. There are two en-suite bedrooms, each with a nearby secure and en-suite children’s room. There is no age limit at Mkombe’s House so younger children are always catered for as cots are available during your stay here.
At the beginning of each day you will discuss what you and your fellow travellers would like to eat. This ensures that you have the flexibility to amend the meal plans to specific dietary needs including those of children.
The main focus during your stay at Mkombe’s House is exploring your stunning surroundings on game drives where you will spot the incredible local flora and fauna of the Serengeti. It is also possible for you to embark upon guided walking safaris to give you a different view of the Serengeti and see some of the smaller creatures living here.
There is no minimum age to stay at Mkombe’s House so it is the ideal stay for families. There are cots, high-chairs and car-seats available, although it should be noted that there is a minimum age of 12 on the walking safaris.
