Style
Completely refurbished between 2017 and 2018, the Dulini Collection combines undeniable luxury with a true sense of African style. The bush is never far from view, ensuring you never lose sight of your connection to the natural world over the course of your safari.
Setting
Dulini's three lodges are situated close to each other, with the Sand and Mabrak Rivers winding their way in between. Sabi Sands is just a short drive away, which provides rich habitat for the Big Five and a particularly large population of big cats. Sabi Sands shares an unfenced border with Kruger National Park, allowing wildlife to move freely throughout the area.
Accommodation & Facilities
Lavish surroundings abound at each one of the lodges here. The well-appointed and air-conditioned suites benefit from adjoining bathrooms, private plunge pools, panoramic riverbank views and stunning contemporary décor. Shaded by ebony, leadwood and jackalberry trees, the cantilevered viewing decks are a wonderful place to unwind and spot the region's wildlife, while the various lounges and dining rooms are the perfect venue in which to meet your fellow travellers. In addition, Dulini Moya contains a well-equipped gym, while River Lodge houses a safari and curio shop which allows guests to take home a bespoke reminder of their African sojourn. 50% of the shop's profits are donated directly to the esiDulini Community Trust, a non-profit organisation which works with the local communities surrounding Sabi Sands.
Dining
The bomas at each lodge serve as uniquely African dining venues, set under a sea of stars and next to a roaring campfire. It is here that fast friendships are made and tales of adventure told late into the evening, all accompanied with the finest South African wines from Dulini's own cellar. Bush dining and private candlelit dinners are also available, while the stylish dining rooms are more than capable alternatives to the bomas should rain start to fall. The cuisine itself is of an excellent standard, prepared by Dulini's executive chef.
Activities
Game drives are taken twice daily, first in the early morning and then in the late afternoon, when the wildlife is at its most active. There are strict limits on the amount of vehicles allowed at wildlife sightings here, which keeps crowds at a minimum. Each specially designed vehicle comes equipped with camera mounts and seats no more than six guests at a time, alongside expert guides and indigenous Shangaan trackers. Birdwatching and interpretative bush walks are available too, which offer a great way to experience the land at a more leisurely pace.
Child Policy
Children over the age of 8 are welcome at all Dulini lodges. If booking an entire lodge for your exclusive use, children of any age are welcome.
