Fugitives' Drift is a historic guest lodge located in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The lodge is set on a 2,000 hectare private game reserve overlooking the historic battlefields of Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift. Beneath the shade of ancient Ebony and Leadwood trees, the tranquil haven of Dulini is nestled within a rich riverine setting.
The lodge offers a range of guided tours and excursions, with a focus on the Anglo-Zulu and Anglo-Boer wars, led by registered tour guides who are superb storytellers. They recount, with chilling realism, the atmosphere of each battle, supported by in-depth information of the military tactics used by famous military strategists - Shaka, Winston Churchill and General Louis Botha. Accommodation at Fugitives' Drift consists of 10 luxury en-suite rooms, each with a private veranda overlooking the reserve.
