Babylonstoren

Farm Hotel

Based in one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms in South Africa, Babylonstoren Farm Hotel is nestled amidst the vineyards and orchards of the Drakenstein Valley.

Steeped in history dating back to 1692, Babylonstoren is a picturesque Cape Dutch farm that showcases one of the best-preserved farmyards in the region.

The original farmhouse has also been converted into thirteen comfortable farm cottages surrounded by 8 acres of working farmland. Cottages are traditional in appearance, with whitewashed walls, thatched roofs and wooden gables, but the interiors are modern, minimalist and botanical-themed in design.

Babylonstoren invites visitors to step back in time and savor the tranquility of the countryside, explore lush gardens, and indulge in farm-to-table dining experiences.
