Why not go on a guided Marine Walk to experience the exciting array of creatures at De Hoop, or go on a Whale Watching trip to spot a family of these graceful creatures? De Hoop is also home to over 260 species of birds, so bird-watching is a great option, or make use of your private game drive vehicle and head out with your private Morukuru guide to spot mammals such as eland, zebra and occasionally the elusive leopard. The waters of the De Hoop coast are brilliant for snorkelling, or there are cave tours which show you the striking caves, rock pools and cliffs of the shoreline. For the more energetic, there are guided bike rides and hikes available to experience the natural beauty of De Hoop, or sand boarding on the dunes. For those wishing to relax, massages, star gazing or an afternoon by the poolside back at the house are great options. There is also a private bar and library for guests at the house.
