The Leopard Hills Lodge is built onto of a hill overlooking a natural waterhole that is frequented by the plentiful wildlife in the area. There are 8 glass fronted suites with their own rock plunge pool and private deck, indoor and outdoor double shower and a private lounge where you can relax and watch the African wildlife wander by.

Setting

Leopard Hills is located about 500km (6 hour drive) from Johannesburg, in Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, bordering the world famous Kruger National Park. Perched on a hill (as the name suggests), Leopard Hills has stunning views over the plains below and a pair of binoculars is essential!

Accommodation & Facilities

There are 10 suites, all completely glass fronted with a private veranda to ensure optimal views of the African Bush at all times! Suites are air conditioned, as well as having ceiling fans, and are extremely comfortable with downy duvets on the large beds and a relaxing lounge area. En-suite bathrooms include double basins, bath and a shower, as well as an outdoor shower complete with spectacular views. Suites have a distinct African style, using dark wooden trims and incorporating tree trunks in the structure. Mini bars come stocked with a large range of different drinks as well as snacks.

The large main area includes a lounge with an inviting fireplace and a great bar that serves fine wines, whiskeys and ports, where you will be served the drink of your choice by professional bar staff. There is also a dining room with 2 large, heavy mahogany tables where guests can enjoy sumptuous meals and a fantastic library, with a wide range of literature, 24 hour wi-fi and a TV/DVD player.

Other facilities include a large deck with turquoise swimming pool, as well as a gym and treatment sala, with a large menu.

Dining

Breakfast and lunch are usually served in the dining area. Dinners can be under the stars in the boma, on the upper deck, silver service in the dining room or, of course, a private meal on your veranda. The cuisine here is very good, old classics have been modernised to give you a new and exciting experience.

Activities

There are game drives with a professional and knowledgeable guide so you can track some of Africa’s most prolific game. Walking safaris and cultural tours are also available. Lots of the rangers are keen photographers, so you are guaranteed to get some tips of the trade – helping you capture that sought after image of Africa.

Children over 10 years of age are welcome. Children under this age are only allowed at the camp if it has been booked out exclusively.
