Originally built in 1903, this classic monument of Four Rosmead has been remodelled into an eclectic blend of colonial and contemporary, perfect for anyone who loves the idea of an intimate stay where every need is catered for. Lots of the original features have been kept, from the pine floors to the fireplaces and more beautiful modern elements have been added,

Within walking distance of Green Market, Four Rosmead is on the slopes of Table Mountain in Cape Town.

Accommodation & Facilities

Rooms are each unique in décor and style, featuring a mix of antique and modern furnishings and neutral colour schemes, with bright colourful twists in the fabrics and carpets. On the first floor there are four rooms, 2 of which share a balcony, the others have their own. There are 3 luxury rooms, 2 in a separate garden annex, and a free standing Bellegables Suite which is nestled into a corner of the garden for privacy and has the added luxury of a fireplace, bath and outdoor shower and a home theatre sound system. Rooms are all very comfortable with either a queen or two twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king.

There is a wonderful pool complete with sun loungers and perfectly manicured gardens, great for afternoon strolls. Various stress relieving therapies are on offer by trained professionals.

Dining

A full English breakfast is served each morning in the art-filled breakfast room, buffet style.

Activities

From here you have great access to the striking city of Cape Town, take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain, head to the beach at Clifton or Camps Bay, take a boat trip to Robben Island or go shopping at the V&A Waterfront. There are various day trips available from here, such as to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, or you can hike to the top of Lion’s Head to watch the sun set.

Child Policy

Children over 12 years are welcome. Under 12’s are only allowed when the entire guesthouse has been booked out by one group or family.
