Setting

The Radisson Blu is set on the pristine beachfront of Maputo with views of the glistening Indian Ocean opposite.

Accommodation & Facilities

The 215 rooms range from standard rooms to executive and presidential suites. Each room is adorned with modern furnishings and designs, including very comfortable double or king size beds. The business class rooms, junior suites, executive suites, ambassador suites and presidential suites offer incredible views of the azure Indian Ocean.

On the ground floor, the Oceano Bar is a vibrant place to gather with friends and family for snacks and cocktails whilst socialising. On the first floor, the Vivo Pool Bar is a more elegant setting complete with sea views and an outdoor infinity pool.

Dining

There are 3 restaurants at the Radisson Blu and each serve different delicious cuisine. The Filini Bar & Restaurant offers Italian dishes with a modern twist to be eaten either inside or out on the terrace in a relaxed atmosphere with family, friends or business partners. The Azul Restaurant, located on the ground floor, is less casual than the Filini Bar and serves freshly-prepared lunch and dinners. If you are just looking for a coffee or tea to enjoy in the morning, or even a burger and salad, the Palmeira Lounge is open all day from 6am and offers a range of bar foods suitable for light bites.

Activities

A short drive from the Radisson Blu is Kruger National Park, one of the best places in Africa to see the ‘Big 5’. As well as this, there is also Maputo Special Reserve, a conservation area that originally started as a reserve for endangered elephants but is now home to many endangered species including hippo, giraffe and zebra.

For those who wish to relax, Maputo beach with the lapping shores of the Indian Ocean is just a short walk down the avenue.
