Accommodation & Facilities
With no buildings to the north or south of the villas - just a private beachfront and the ocean in front of you - each villa feels like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. Each one of the villas have been designed to make full use of the spectacular ocean views on offer, with private decks allowing for rest and relaxation from morning to night. All of the open-plan rooms within have en-suite bathrooms, basins and an ocean-view shower. For those not keen on taking a dip in the sea, the lodge also has a swimming pool for guests to use.
The lodge has its own private restaurant with decks overlooking the ocean. The laidback island atmosphere allows guests to relax, recharge and soak in the magnificent views all while enjoying locally sourced Mozambican food. The menu is constantly changing and the latest fare all depends on what fresh and local ingredients are available at the time of year.
The main activity that Blue Footprints Eco Lodge is known for is the incredible scuba diving opportunities. Snorkeling safaris can be arranged in advance with the lodge owners. Other activities include quad bike hire, horse riding, dhow trips and boat excursions to nearby Pansy Island.
Children over the age of 12 are welcome.
